Experience
Rafhael focuses on taxation in the financial and capital markets, with particular emphasis on investment funds, asset management, project finance, debt restructurings, complex financial instruments, and transfer pricing applied to financial transactions, among other matters.
He also has experience in corporate reorganizations, mergers and acquisitions, the application of international tax treaties, Brazilian transfer pricing rules, and OECD’s Pillar Two framework.
Rafhael currently serves as Chair of the LGBTI+ Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and as President of the Oxford Alumni Network Brazil. He has been recognized by the UK-based organization INvolve as one of the 100 most influential LGBT+ leaders in the world (2020–2025).
