Last Wednesday (30), Daniel Loria participated in Tax Day 2026, an event organized by G.TECS, a nonprofit association composed of tax executives from technology companies, which featured a program of discussions focused on the impacts of tax reform on digital platforms and other companies operating in the digital environment.
He was part of the panel “Tax Reform: The New Tax Paradigm,” alongside:
▫️ João Nobre, from the Ministry of Finance
▫️ Waine Peron, from EY
▫️ Rodolfo Araújo, from iFood
Today, in its coverage of the event, Folha de S.Paulo reports that the Ministry of Finance, state governments, and municipalities are seeking a consensus on the format of the tax documents required for digital platforms to adapt to the tax reform, effective January 1, 2027.
Participating in this type of debate reinforces Loria Advogados’ commitment to closely monitoring—and actively contributing to—the transformations that are reshaping the business environment in Brazil.
