Tax Reform Advisory

We provide strategic legal advisory to companies in preparing for Brazil’s Consumption Tax Reform, which introduces the State and Municipal Goods and Services Tax (IBS), the Federal Goods and Services Tax (CBS), and the Excise Tax (IS), replacing the former taxes on sales of goods and provision of services. Our objective is to support companies in achieving compliance with the new tax rules and to assist them throughout the transition period. We analyze each client’s business and industry, identifying risks and opportunities and structuring a tailored action plan applicable to each area of the business.
